The Decision of Your Life (AM)

Scripture Reading:  Joshua 24:15

Introduction

A.  Have you ever thought how different your life would be today if you had made one single decision differently?

B.  The truth is that our lives actually revolve around the accumulation of thousands of small decisions that we make each and every day, often without thinking about them.

Discussion

I.  To succeed we must be faithful in small decisions.

A.  The servants who were rewarded in Jesus’ parable of the talents were faithful with the little that their master entrusted to them (Matthew 25:14–23).

B.  Joseph was faithful in small things and was exalted by God (Genesis 39:4, 7–15, 22).

C.  Daniel was faithful day by day (Daniel 6:1–10).

II.  It is important for us to be faithful in little things.

A.  Success isn’t attained through big decisions alone, but with everyday small ones (cf. Proverbs 6:6–11).

B.  Start working today toward becoming the person God can use tomorrow (Hebrews 5:12–14).

C.  Remember that nobody is going to stumble his way into heaven (Isaiah 35:8; Matthew 7:14).

Conclusion

A.  If you continue for the rest of your life doing what you are doing now, how do you see your life playing out in the end?

B.  If you would like for God to entrust more to you, resolve to be faithful with what He has already given you.
