II.  Remembering Jesus’ words will make all the difference in our disposition in life as well.

A.  The troubles that befall us might leave us feeling perplexed at times, at least until we remember Jesus’ words (1 Peter 4:12–13; Matthew 10:24–25; John 15:18–20).

B.  When we remember His words, our distress will be replaced with peace and joy (John 14:1–3; 15:26–16:4).

C.  Jesus’ words have the power to change fear into peace and sorrow into joy, but only if we will take the time to remember them.

Conclusion

A.  As we celebrate this joy that Christ has bestowed upon us, let us search for opportunities to share it with others.

B.  Especially when times are hard, don’t ever forget the words of Jesus.
